The site www.youthforhumanrights.org is a site run by a non-profit organization committee to “educate people in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights so they become valuable advocates for tolerance and peace.” Noble aspirations indeed. The site itself has a great eye appealing design and is easy to navigate. The best part is certainly the “Ads” section. They have 30 public service announcements that are really well put together. They are short and really do make you think about a specific human right.

 

It is certainly a great site to share with students and integrate into a classroom setting. It would also be a good resource if you are a student working on an assignment about human rights. The PSA’s are centered on raising awareness in youth, however, they would certainly have an effect on any audience.
